What to expect

Ané Radiance Serum is fragrance free and colourless. It has a very light, silky consistency, and has been designed to be absorbed quickly.  On application you may experience a tightening effect as the active ingredients go to work.

According to our skin’s natural regeneration cycle your serum will have the most visible and significant effect after around 4-6 weeks of continuous use.  My testers and most recent customers have reported earlier results than that, but I advise a minimum of 3 weeks.

Vitamin C can be a tricky ingredient to introduce to your skincare regime, and there are a number of derivatives.  I've chosen this particular Vitamin C derivative ( Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate) that is much gentler, more stable and easier to absorb than L-ascorbic acid which is known as the pure form of Vitamin C. Personally I can't tolerate L-ascorbic acid and my skin reacts to it through forming red patches and breaking out.  Fortunately my skin responds great to the the Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate derivative and I can still get the benefits from using Vitamin C in my skincare regime.

Always patch test and introduce slowly if you have any concerns.

I use Ané Radiance Serum twice a day underneath my Glow in a Bottle Facial Oil.

About the key ingredients

Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate (Vitamin C) is a stable, water-soluble form of vitamin C that is gentle on skin and is more bioavailable and easier to absorb than other forms of Vitamin C.  Applied topically it can help slow the ageing process and the development of fine lines and wrinkles. As an anti-oxidant it neutralises free radicals, provide photo-protection against sun damage, brightens skin tone and help fight discolouration.  It also has anti-microbial effects that help fight acne and prevent breakouts.

Sodium hyaluronate is the salt of Hyaluronic Acid. It has a much lower molecular size which makes it easier to penetrate deeper layers of the skin. Hyaluronic Acid is a naturally occurring substance that we make in our bodies, but as we get older production declines.  Applying Hyaluronic Acid topically can replace some of what is lost and help to keep skin moist, supple and hydrated.
