Sexual Self Care and How To Transform Your Relationship With Sex - Billie Quinlan The Ferly App

Guest interview with Billie Quinlan, CEO and Co-Founder of sexual well-being startup, The Ferly App - an audio guide to mindful sex. Also recently named Apple’s App of the week in the App store.

Billie and her co-founder Anna Huslak want to radically transform the relationship you have with sex. They are on a mission to close the pleasure gap by improving health, confidence, and pleasure of women globally. In the process they have have been able to build an incredible community, over 30,000 women strong (and growing), called the Pleasure Pioneers.

The Ferly App represents a safe space for women to explore their ever-evolving sexuality and in doing so improve their overall physical and mental well-being.

In this episode Billie shares with us exactly what the pleasure gap really is and how they are working to close it; powerful messages around sexual self-care and how you can broaden and explore your ideas on your own sexuality and sex in general.

We also discuss the narratives in our own lives that are consciously and subconsciously driving our own sexuality, desires and experiences.

Both Anna and Billie have experienced sexual assault and their own personal stories are very much a driving force behind breaking the taboos in talking about sex, reclaiming pleasure and having a confident, healthy and happy sex life - whatever your relationship status or sexual orientation.

What can be more mysterious than our own sexuality, what we like or don’t, what turns us on or off - it’s such a fundamental part of ourselves; and we all have such unique experiences all through our lives that shape our sexuality; we’re all so different and we often know so little about ourselves when it comes to our our sexuality - not to mention the person we may be in a relationship with. If we get really honest with ourselves, we often only scratch the surface, so to speak.

I hope you’ll join Billie & I as we dive into all things sexual self care, the stories we tell ourselves, how our early experiences shape our sexuality, the ins and outs of the Pleasure gap (pun intended) and so much more.
